Yüksel Demirkaya is a Full Professor and a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Marmara University, Istanbul. He also heads the Graduate Program in Governance and Civil Society Organizations. He teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses on topics such as Turkey’s Administrative Structure, Local Governments, Strategic Management, and Project Management. He has authored numerous national and international scientific publications and projects in his field. Prof. Dr. Yüksel Demirkaya is the editor of the International Strategic Public Management Journal.

His main research interests are: public administration, political science, management.

He has published numerous research articles and participated in national and international research projects.
